Mission & Team

TEO’s mission is to acquire controlling interests in quality producing assets, operate them and implement clean selected technologies to enhance oil production and keep any environmental impact to an absolute minimum.

The founders as well as the members of the management team are all senior executives with extensive experience. The team has spent the last three years reviewing innovative Enhanced Oil Recovery technologies available on the market.

Stephane Lamoine, President

Stephane Lamoine founded Iskandia in 2010.

Prior to founding Iskandia, he was a consultant with Elliott Advisors from 2002.

In 1994 he joined Canaccord Genuity and created the largest mining stockbroker in French-speaking Europe. He later sold his European franchise to Williams de Broe. In 1991 he joined Societe Generale as Chief Investment Officer of SG Asset Management (SGAM), having begun his career as a natural resources and global fund manager with LCF Rothschild in 1987.

He obtained his M.Sc. (Magna cum laude) from Ecole Centrale de Paris and graduated from the French Chartered Financial Analysts National School. Fluent in French, English, German and Spanish.

Marc Samuel, Chief Financial Officer

Marc Samuel is a founder of the Iskandia Energy Group and non-executive Chairman of the Group.

He is a former CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Banque and previously an entrepreneur and founder of EdR Financial Services, a EUR 10bn Investment company specialized in investment solutions.

He is an expert at structuring and management.

Marc Samuel graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (X) in France.

Pierre Levin, Chief Technical Office

Pierre Levin has been managing director at Vulcain since 2012, where he is responsible for natural resources deals, including large cross-border gold and oil and gas transactions.

He previously founded Soyouz AM in Russia and Flam, a Swiss asset management firm dedicated to Russian HNWIs with a particular expertise in
structuring corporate transactions in the resources sectors.

Pierre graduated from Ecole des Mines de Paris, with a geology major and a specialty in advanced natural resources technologies, followed by a Master from HEC Business School in Paris. He is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Russian.
